Job Description
Job Summary
The eLearning Lead Developer is responsible for ensuring that IT operations & services application training materials meet the requirements of Novocure’s functional, business, and regional end-users and maximize training outcomes in a variety of learning modalities. You will l ead the creation and delivery of highly interactive, engaging, and scalable content that delivers high-impact results. Employing adult learning, content development, application expertise, and best practices, this position develops a dynamic library of learning solutions.
Your primary responsibility is to create training material on technology solutions and platforms with a keen focus on user experience and change management to increase adoption. You will o versee the instructional design of multiple training projects through implementation and execution. You’ll ensure training courses and up-to-date documentation is designed and maintained to support the overall learning and development strategy for the business.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in leveraging various technology platforms, understanding how people learn, and be able to design effective training events. This role will report to the Sr. Director of IT Site Operations, Application Engineering & eLearning.

  • Plan, organize, & implement a range of training experiences in various modes of delivery (video, interactive user guides, courses).
  • Think strategically using creative approaches to make timely decisions while functioning with autonomy.
  • Create an environment of trust and seek out diverse perspectives to encourage training improvement and innovation.
  • Effectively utilize design models and project management techniques to manage projects from initiation to execution.
  • Design, develop, organize, execute, and evaluate training offerings and learning deliverables against key performance indicators.
  • Oversee & assist in the design of training projects that focus on technical, operational systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Design and develop self-paced training, eLearning, micro learning, videos, and supporting materials, as needed.
  • Act as a liaison with software design vendors.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders.
  • Provide overall leadership and management to all members of the instructional design team including goal setting, interpersonal skill development, coaching, development, performance feedback, and communication training.
  • Manage overall operations, content, and usage of the digital adoption platform.
  • Develop an instructional design team strategy for ensuring consistent design, development, and delivery of all application training material.
  • Consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts during discovery and design of training to identify needs and gain buy-in.
  • Ensure instructional design team adheres to defined internal policies and procedures.
  • Review all projects for quality, adherence to brand standards, and effective learning strategy for content and audience.
  • Remain flexible, champion change, and be quick to adapt to a fast-changing environment to meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple large projects simultaneously , while overcoming obstacles to present both team and individual deliverables by the designated deadline.
Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of graphic design and related tools.
  • Expert knowledge of eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise, Dreamweaver, Storyline, Camtasia ,Captivate, Figma, Visio, and Vyond.
  • Expert knowledge of Learning Management Systems
  • Strong working knowledge of digital adoption platforms.
  • 4+ years of experience designing eLearning content for the Healthcare, Medtech or FinTech industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology.
  • Previous hands-on project management experience is preferred.
  • Strong working technical knowledge of CSS and basic HTML editing.
  • 10+ years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, or an eLearning role.
