The epilepsy team includes the largest and most experienced team of neurological experts in West Michigan, including three certified epileptologists, as well as neurosurgeons, dedicated epilepsy nurses and EEG technologists, including West Michigan's only advanced practice EEG technologist— all housed within The Hauenstein Neuroscience Center at Saint Mary's, the only self-contained neuroscience hospital in Michigan.

What the EEG Technologist will need:

Education

• Preferred Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Program (END) with a minimum of an Associates Degree and one year electroneurodiagnostic experience.
• MinimumGraduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Program (END) program or on the job training with a minimum of two years experience.

Credentials/Licensure

• Ability to complete certification as an EEG Technologist by the American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET), within two years of hire.
• Minimum Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Preferred Associates Degree in Health Sciences.

Related Experience

• Preferred Non-invasive EEG testing competence.
• Minimum Satisfactory completion of CCF EEG Course and Testing.
