Job Description

Wellness for Everyone Inc. seeks a creative, collaborative, community-minded leader to manage the company’s PreK-12 grade residencies, workshops, and field trips for Denver Public Schools. This position will lead a department that includes our education programs, and serve as a thought leader with regard to community engagement strategies, messaging, and program evaluation. This position serves on our senior team, oversees education staff, and reports directly to the Education Director.


Primary responsibilities:


Community Engagement

  • Implement systems to evaluate effectiveness of community programs
  • Identify and create meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships with Denver Public Schools
  • Create annual and long-term engagement strategy for our Prek-12 grade residencies, workshops, and field trips for Chicago Public Schools
  • Work with Principals, School Administration, and Teaching Artists to confirm schedules, write grants, and complete assessments

Education and Learning

  • Strategically assess, evaluate, and give assistance and feedback to learning & training programs
  • Oversee staff who execute educational programming in Denver Public Schools

Administrative

  • Serve on our leadership team, collaborating on overall strategy and direction of the company
  • Work closely with leadership, school partners, and Teaching Artists for continued staff training and policies


Prerequisites

Wellness for Everyone, Inc. is seeking someone who:

  • Is passionate about providing arts and wellness programming to underserved communities
  • Is a strategic and critical thinker in collaborative community programming
  • Is innovative, creative, and flexible
  • Has strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Can demonstrate strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • A strong understanding of Denver communities is a plus
  • Has excellent relationship building skills and follow-through
  • Experienced team leader and facilitator


College degree preferred; commensurate experience will be considered.


Position is part-time, 5-10 hours per week, with potential to become full-time in the future.
