Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Education Coordinator – Field Sales is responsible for assisting the Education Manager in the implementation and ongoing support of all field sales education including the scheduling and booking of In-Salon Classes and the Regional Educator Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Liaise with Field Sales Staff to determine most efficient and cost-effective travel itinerary and manage Educator travel from start to finish, through booking airline tickets and accommodations, securing rental transportation, etc.
  • Prepare class slides and Education decks as needed and directed by the Education Manager – Field Sales.
  • Maintain accurate registration reports for all educational events conducted through R+Co, R+Co Bleu and R+Color.
  • Help to manage payments for all educators as well as overseeing the reconciliation of the EDU studio card
  • Lead creation of Quarterly EDU Newsletter with input from EDU team with final approval from VP Education.
  • Process all EDU products orders for Regional, National, and Global Educator teams as it pertains to conducting education in the field.
  • Continuously research digital platforms and best practices to help keep R+Co EDU as a leader in professional education
  • Liaise with the sales team and educators to facilitate creation of all social and email marketing assets to advertise our digital education offerings
  • Work with Education Manager to develop systems of efficient communication between field sales and salons to optimize seamless execution.

SPECIAL EVENT DETAILS

  • Support all internal educator trainings
  • Assist with special events (i.e. Workshops, Classes, Regional Events) on an as-needed basis

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years experience in a customer service, or executive assistant role
  • Ability to travel (including some weekends) as needed
  • On call on weekends, and after hours on an as-needed basis.
  • Knowledge of salon/beauty industry is a plus
  • Professional demeanor, polished and a good communicator with internal and external clients alike
  • Strong written and verbal communication and relationship skills
  • Undergraduate degree
  • A self-starter with exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Computer Proficient: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Mac proficiency and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
  • Sitting: Must be able to remain in the seated, stationary position throughout work day.
  • Lifting: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
