We currently have an immediate opening for an Editor/Marketing Coordinator to join our established and expanding team. The Editor/Marketing Coordinator will divide their time between editing deliverables and providing support for the marketing team as necessary. We are looking for an individual who understands the levels of edit (cursory, mid-level, substantive) and can adjust their editing approach depending on project requirements.


The successful candidate will also be able to prioritize schedules when dealing with multiple task assignments. If you are passionate about environmental and energy issues and love learning more about the many ways our company works to find solutions to these issues, this job could be the perfect fit.


Role:

  • Edit technical engineering and scientific reports, statements of qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and other marketing publications for grammatical accuracy, consistency in tone, organization, and consistency in formatting.
  • Coordinate document reviews through final production and distribution.
  • Prepare focused, project-specific resumes, project descriptions, corporate background information, and management information as required (e.g., health and safety, quality, management, project controls) for proposals and presentations.
  • Provide formatting support as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a focus in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field; Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with courses in communications will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the environmental consulting industry, is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with engineers, scientists, project managers, and marketing/publications staff.
  • Strong writing skills: experience with technical writing preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to execute multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Licenses, Certifications & Other Skills
  • PC, Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required.
  • Adobe Suite experience required.
  • Working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
