ABOUT THE ROLE
Primary responsibility is to work closely with the Content Acquisition & Development and Upper-Level content teams and Production to assist in the project management of content handovers, review handovers, identify areas of concern and work to resolve to ensure timelines are met. Maintain ongoing workflow processes and aid in the documentation of such processes. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ongoing enabling systems across HE. Support development of expertise within HE for various editorial-wide systems including Qualtrics, iThenticate, Oxford Publish, Oxford Purchases and others to assist members of the broader HE team.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESULT AREAS
- Establish and maintain handover information according to established guidelines for the team using a system for tracking all handover progress.
- Ensure projects adhere to overall vision for workflows and processes and recognize the need to escalate issues for direction and decisions.
- Support the implementation of new systems and business processes, helping to adapt workflows to changing environments and publishing requirements.
- Take accountability for and completion of other assigned activities within the team. e.g., contributing to an index of HE content assets.
- Learn and expand own knowledge to provide technical support to HE team, including documentation for various editorial-wide systems including Qualtrics, iThenticate, Oxford Publish, Oxford Purchase and others.
- Administer project handovers and tracking.
- Contribute to other tasks as assigned by the Editorial Operations Lead.
- Assist in the timely deliver on throughput, schedules and quality.

- Excellent written communication as well as strong interpersonal and verbal skills.
- Ability to work with peers and cross-functionally in a productive manner (including within the matrix management structure of the Press) towards a common purpose and good.
