We currently have an immediate opening for an Editor to join our established and expanding team. The Editor will primarily focus on editing deliverables, providing backup support for the marketing team as necessary.


Role


  • Edit technical engineering and scientific reports, statements of qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and other marketing publications for grammatical accuracy, consistency in tone, organization, and consistency in formatting.
  • Prepare focused, project-specific resumes, project descriptions, corporate background information, and management information as required (e.g., health and safety, quality, management, project controls) for proposals and presentations.
  • Coordinate document reviews through final production and distribution.
  • Provide formatting support as necessary.


Qualifications


  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with engineers, scientists, project managers, and marketing/publications staff.
  • Able to execute multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong editing skills; experience with technical subject matter preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the environmental consulting industry
  • A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a focus in marketing, communications, or related field; Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with courses in communications will also be considered.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


Licenses, Certifications & Other Skills


  • PC, Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required.
  • Working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Adobe Suite experience required.
  • InDesign skills a plus.


Compensation


Salary commensurate with experience.


Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 yr.


Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
