Summary

Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the registered nurse.

Work Shift

1. Takes vital signs, height and weight.

2. Performs EKG’s.

3. Assist physicians or nurses on all procedures.

4. Monitors telemetry patients.

5. Collects various specimens in the appropriate manner.

6. Crutch training.

7. Assist with ordering supplies.

8. May perform Bladder Scans and insert Foley Catheters.

9. Transport Patients.

Education: High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 0-6months
