Position Overview

We are looking for a versatile Ecommerce & Community Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving online sales growth while fostering a vibrant and engaged community of skincare enthusiasts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for skincare and the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with our customers.

Ecommerce Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce website, ensuring user-friendly navigation, clear product presentation, and an optimized checkout process.
  • Implement best practices for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve organic visibility and website traffic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute promotions, campaigns, and product launches to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy focused on driving revenue, enhancing user experience, and increasing customer retention.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, including product listing, pricing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

Community Engagement:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback, providing exceptional customer service and building brand loyalty.
  • Nurture and expand our online community of skincare enthusiasts through social media platforms, forums, and other digital channels.
  • Develop and implement community engagement initiatives, including interactive discussions, webinars, and virtual events.
  • Collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to foster positive relationships and expand the reach of our brand.

Content Creation:

  • Ensure content is aligned with brand messaging, values, and industry trends to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the team to create engaging and educational content that resonates with our community, such as blog posts, videos, tutorials, and user-generated content.

Analytics and Insights:

  • Analyze ecommerce and community engagement metrics to assess performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize data to optimize user experience, conversion rates, and community engagement.
  • Monitor customer feedback and sentiment to gather insights and inform strategic decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with customer service and fulfillment teams to address customer inquiries, orders, and issues effectively.
  • Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to ensure consistent brand messaging, product launches, and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and engagement tactics.
  • Passion for skincare and an understanding of skincare trends and products.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and online community dynamics.
  • Proven experience in ecommerce management, community engagement, or related roles, preferably in the skincare, beauty, or wellness industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and insights to inform decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Other Considerations

·Initial placement through Contractor with option to Full Time Hire conversion

·Hybrid of on-site and remote. We are located in the Greater Boston area of MA, and directly working with teams is vital.
