Dump Truck Driver Jobs

BDZ Developers is actively seeking an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to transport materials and equipment to and from jobsites in King and Snohomish Counties.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect and maintain the truck and trailer daily before leaving the yard
  • Fill out DOT Inspection forms and perform scheduled maintenance on truck and trailer.
• Deliver materials and equipment from yard to jobsite daily
• Other duties as assigned
• Understand, interpret, and follow directions from shop manager, foreman or superintendent.
• Deliver materials and equipment to/from jobsites/yard/vendors
• Fill out DOT Inspection forms and perform scheduled maintenance on truck and trailer.
• Keep the Equipment Manager apprised of any issues in the yard or with the truck/trailer
• Communicate professionally with everyone on site, including but not limited to supervisors, teammates, contractors, clients and vendor partners.
• Report to shop in Everett WA daily
• Understand company safety program and follows appropriate protocols when working on vehicles

REQUIREMENTS

• Monday to Friday schedule, working overtime as needed
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates
• Class A CDL is required with a clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Five (5) year or more in heavy haul truck driving required
• Ability to read and write English required
• Ability to understand goals and direction
• A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be run on anyone considered for this position

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Work is performed outdoors, exposing those teammates to all weather conditions
• Must be able to climb on and off equipment safely while maintaining three (3) points of contact
• Any other physical demand the assigned duties require
• Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time, as well as stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl as required to perform key duties
• May be exposed to varying levels of noise, dust and substances commonly found on construction sites
• Lifting of at least 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Work performed may expose employee to long periods of highway driving, traffic noise, weather and the elements, and moving machinery
