Driver/Packer

The Driver/Packer works in the Lanakila Meals on Wheels Home Delivery program's daily packing and delivery operations. The team of Driver/Packer helps to prepare and pack meals with our Home Delivery Volunteers, and transports meals to our seniors throughout Oahu.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

· Education: High school diploma or Certificate of Completion or equivalent

· Experience: One year in operations, warehouse, delivery, merchandising, kitchen, retail or other closely related work environment.

· Clearance/Certification: 1) TB clearance, 2) Criminal background check, 3) Pre-employment drug testing, 4) Child Protective Services/Adult Protective background check.

· CPR/First Aid, Department of Health Food Handlers Safety (Obtain on the job)

· Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract

WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS:

· Scheduled for work 5 days a week. Monday through Friday, 6:30 am – 4:00 pm. 8-hour shift may vary. May be required to work outside of normal business hours including weekends and holidays to meet operational needs and contract requirements.
