Seeking a Part Time Driver on our Lockport Corps Social Services Team

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION

Faith-based non-profit organization needs a Driver to assist with the pickup and transportation of in-kind donations as well as the transport of individuals to and from Salvation Army programs. This position also requires the ability to lift as much as 75 pounds and the use of a dolly. The Driver will also be required to maintain the vehicle including servicing and cleaning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Drive a 12-passenger maxi-van with a trailer attached to pick up in-kind donations.
• Keep vehicle clean, gassed up, and serviced on a regular basis.
• Perform a daily inspection of vehicles to ensure safety.
• Seasonally help with the placement of Christmas kettles at local establishments.

SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• High School diploma
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift weight and bend.
