If it sounds like your dream job, then you've come to the right place! Full-time Shuttle or Valet Drivers for our patients and familes are needed at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Shuttle or Valet experience is preferred. Open availabilty is needed. You will get a limited choice in shifts. In this role, you would be supporting our patients and families at the hospital and at our housing facilities, so we need energetic, caring, customer-oriented, deadline-focused professional drivers to meet the demands of our expanding campus and operations. • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department and hospital.
• Completes miscellaneous pick-ups for all affiliated hospital services and return to appropriate departments.
• Using a hospital vehicle, provides transportation service inside of 35 miles for employees, patients and visitors between the hospital, airport, valet lots, St. Jude parking lots, St. Jude sponsored lodging facilities and other outside services identified as a need for patients and families.
• Maintains a positive image for St. Jude and conducts business in a professional and customer friendly manner.
• Obtains hospital mail from main post office and delivers daily to hospital Mail Center.
• Regularly performs preventive maintenance checks, and recommends service as needed.

 

• One (1) year experience as a professional driver required.
• Knowledge of state and local laws governing the operation of a motor vehicle.
• Must have skills in the safe and efficient operation of appropriate size vehicle.
• Must have an excellent driving record.
