District Sales Manager Jobs

About the Job:

This position is responsible for assisting in the evaluation of each dealership within an assigned district. This position will support TMH’s sales activities through Dealer Sales core business and Dealer National Accounts. Responsible for maximization of retail orders from customer base to meet individual annual, quarterly, and monthly volume goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and implement the Toyota's sales process of value selling – in person and virtually.
• Support sales planning and manufacturing through sales order/production forecasting; pipeline stock specifications; demo fleet recommendations.
• Work closely with Regional Sales Manager in financial merchandising programs to increase finance penetration through Toyota dealers in assigned sales district.
• Review quote activity and lost order reporting with dealers. Assist and train dealers in keeping Customer Relationship Management (CRM) opportunities updated.
• Lead the sales process in the Dealer Sales channel while driving KPIs such as participation in all five classes.
• Communicate sales goals and provide all pertinent reports including, but not limited to monthly and annual forecasts and Dealer Only Retail Order Market Share.
• Responsible for account management activities for assigned decentralized National Accounts.
• Assist product planning in assessing market needs, design trends, competition, and prototype testing.
• Utilize Toyota’s resources to manage salesperson’s performance; develop countermeasures and out of the box thinking to improve low performance.
• Collaborate with dealers in ensuring dealership's inventory for available stock, retail shipments and warranty registration are at appropriate levels.
• Collaborate with TMH’s training department in the development of curriculum specifically targeting Toyota's narrow aisle sales professionals.

75% travel required

What We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years warehouse product industrial sales experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
