Job Description

The Distribution & Logistics Supervisor reports to the VP of Supply Chain and is responsible for the day-to-day execution of all Distribution, warehousing, and logistics functions. Displaying strong leadership this candidate must share Craft ‘Ohana’s commitment to its four operating pillars: Quality of Products, Quality of Life, Quality of Business Practices, and Quality of Manufacturing Operations.


COMPENSATION

$75,000-$85,000/annual


THE EVERYDAY VIEW

· Planning and executing outbound shipments based on customer requests, and product availability.

· Working closely cross-departmentally to continue to service our customers with timely, fresh, and high-quality beverages

· Pilot the warehouse team through daily responsibilities ensuring a safe, clean, and organized storage strategy.

· Facilitate any logistic management required to manage the yard and empty containers.

· Lead In all receiving, and Inventory control functions Including but not limited to cycle counting, shipment receipts, movements, consumptions, and other ad-hoc Inventory control needs.

· Lead, foster, motivate, and develop your team to encourage a shared vision of excellence.

· Manage, develop (where necessary), and report on KPIs to help measure success and more Importantly Identify and address any gaps that may be present.

· Govern existing equipment ensuring maintenance Is performed, and safety checks are performed in adherence to department policies.

· Be a team player and able to interact with all levels within the organization bringing a supportive, "can-do" attitude to new challenges.

· Adhere to and enforce all applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.

· Other tasks as needed.


THE MANAGEMENT VIEW

· Assist in the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of all team members.

· Provide training and directives for their reporting people managers.

· Demonstrate effective and timely communication with direct employees, customers, outside vendors, and all other Craft 'Ohana personnel.

· Respond to and be an active participant in projects and requests from all Craft 'Ohana brands/ departments/divisions regarding the Kihei, HI team) and its personnel.

· Keep Vice President of Operation promptly and fully informed of all issues (i.e., problems, unusual matters of significance and positive events) and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.

· Responsible for submitting and approving payroll of any hourly reports by deadlines established by the People Operations team.

· Guide, mediate and properly document employee issues, disputes, or performance problems as needed.

· Regularly evaluate employees on skills and behavior as it pertains to their position, continually assessing your team to uphold the best talent standards for the organization.

· Proactively seek out education and training on best management practices to continually better your skills and abilities as a leader

· Thorough knowledge of Craft ‘Ohana’s commitment to its four operating pillars: Quality of Products, Quality of Life, Quality of Business Practices, and Quality of Manufacturing Operations.


REQUIREMENTS

. Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.

· Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment reference, and background check.

· Experience working within an ERP or OMS system.

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills

· CPIM/CSCP or comparable supply chain certificate a plus

· 5+ years leading a team in a warehouse environment.

· 5+ years of experience in logistics

· Creative, problem-solving skills.

· Strong interpersonal skills and a love for meeting and interacting with people.

· Thorough attention to detail and desire to take initiative.

· 5+ years forklift experience (preferably training cert)

· Must adhere to the company’s policies and procedures.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

· Up to 25% travel time may be required.


PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

· Nights, evenings, and weekends required - if applicable (while we highly value work-life balance and this role will have a standard 1st shift, business needs, planning, and exceptions will dictate the exact schedule)

· Ability to approach all situations with a calm, solution-oriented demeanor and lead by example.

· Able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for prolonged periods.

· Able to read and follow written instructions.

· Able to regularly twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, crawl, lift, and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 55 pounds using appropriate techniques and tools.

· Able to safely navigate the tasting room and snack bar areas, including crowded spaces.

· Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.

· Able to move 165-pounds, using appropriate techniques and tools.

· Able to work in a factory/production environment that may be loud, slick, humid, cold, and hot.

· Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise and occasionally slippery floors.

· Able to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards.
