Dishwasher (Senior Living) - All Shifts

Patriots Landing are hiring full and part-time dishwashers for their Senior Living Community in Dupont, WA. Our special community is nestled into the heart of DuPont, bordering JBLM. Our residents are primarily military veterans and spouses that are enjoying a happy retirement among friends they previously served with, or that they have gained by joining our community.

Summary of Responsibilities

Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates, and utensils, loading washing machines, and stacking washed items appropriately. If you want to kickstart your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations, we’d like to meet you. Note that this role requires working in shifts and, occasionally, holidays and/or weekends. Ultimately, you’ll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our residents.

• Assist with food preparation as needed including washing, cutting, preparing, and cleaning up.
• Set up and sanitize dish-cleaning stations
• Make sure that delivery docks and outside trash bin areas are clean.
• Receive and stock deliveries
• Perform tasks as assigned on a cleaning schedule.
• Empty and line all trash receptacles as needed.
• Wash dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and equipment after each meal. Ensure that all items are clean and spotless.
• Assist with food service delivery to residents
• Sweep, scrub, and mop the kitchen floor, walk-in refrigerator, and dry storage daily.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be certified in First Aid and CPR and be capable of meeting all requirements that may be specified by the state or other regulatory agencies.
• Possess knowledge of safe sanitation practices, safety practices, and special diets.
• Must have the ability to work on your feet for 4 to 8 hours a day
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
• Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English
• Possess strong oral, written, and telephone skills
