JOB SUMMARY


This key role is within the US-Canada Technology team reporting to the Portfolio Management organization and is responsible creating and executing communication deliverables to support stakeholders (US/Canada team, properties, owners, associates) as we modernize our technology and business processes. This role is a true PR leader that will help the organization drive the implementation and support of business-as-usual and transformational programs and is key to providing messaging and content for the organization to help effect awareness and change.


This role will establish expertise in creating and executing communication plans and related deliverables for the organization and will also provide key support and expertise to the VP, Continent Technology. In addition, will establish strong, collaborative ties with the Business Communications organization and various partners within Global Technology’s portfolio communications teams. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking skills, great with visual storytelling, comfort with ambiguity, a proven ability to manage multiple work efforts at the same time, comfort being tested on difficult and time-sensitive requests and the ability to produce clear, easy-to-understand communications deliverables.


CANDIDATE PROFILE


Education and Experience

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university; or equivalent experience, training, and certifications
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience (project management, stakeholder engagement, communications specialist), demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance with specific experience in:
    • Supporting and driving business change internally
    • Translating complex topics, concepts, business strategies and data into clear, concise and compelling communications (e.g. PowerPoint presentations)
    • Web and email publishing
    • Webinar software

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES


  • Develops and delivers communications deliverables, including – but not limited to – webinars, PowerPoint presentations, talking points, job aids, etc.
  • Creates and executes necessary communication plans working closely with change and communications partners, continent deployment, learning and other teams to meet defined success measures.
  • Establishes and conducts a cadence of informational/feedback sessions (e.g., quarterly) for stakeholders to stay abreast of evolving continent technology efforts.
  • Modernizes and updates MGS page for US/Canada; consolidates SharePoint reference sites.
  • Partners closely with Deployment teams and Performance Advisory resource to identify new or modify existing learning opportunities required to support deployments; develops tracking for implementation and compliance purposes.
  • Partners with continent Global Technology teams to tailor communications plans and effectively disseminate key messages.
  • Develops and coordinates required change and deployment deliverables through a formal review process while adhering to style and quality guidelines and delivering against tight timelines.
  • Establishes and executes against a communication and change intake process for the US/Canada portfolio team.
  • Creates communications documents on behalf of Continent Sr. Leaders for use in annual budget efforts, quarterly reporting, etc.
  • Identifies needs and then develops, manages, and maintains communication plans for the organization across internal towers (TSSC, Field Operations, etc.)
  • Works collaboratively with a variety of key stakeholders both within the US/Canada leadership team and Portfolio management to validate alignment and consistency with broader organizational communication efforts.
  • Develops targeted communications for associates describing scope, preparation, rollout measurements and milestones.
  • Executes communication plans and related deliverables to drive awareness, behavior change, and support process adoption.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $107,850.00 to $239,250.00 annually.

Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $107,850.00 to $217,498.00 annually.

New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $130,500.00 to $239,250.00 annually.

Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $107,850.00 to $239,250.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
