SUMMARY
The Director, Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement and fulfillment management processes for the returns of direct and indirect goods and services. This position is crucial to achieving company goals for Customer Experience and Profitability.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Identifying and delivering opportunities to reduce the cost of returns, including but not limited to: returns methods, cost and customer experience (LFBF), returns transportation cost, returns topology, lost return reduction, return rate reduction, fraud/Bad Returns Workflow, damage standards (when we sell a returned item as New vs Used vs liquidate), and returns policy (including defining “beyond acceptable use” thresholds).
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Solid project management skills, team facilitation skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management.
  • Strong experience leveraging, utilizing, and implementing warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise management systems in support of effective supply chain execution.
  • At least ten (10) years of professional experience related to broad supply chain management of distribution, logistics, inventory management, sourcing and sales; experience with multi-site distribution management and direct export responsibility preferred.
  • Strong background leveraging contemporary supply chain, logistics and continuous improvement tools / methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, cost, inventory management, and safety.
  • Strong background in the management of all logistics functions (inbound freight and inter-site freight) to insure on-time deliveries at the lowest cost.
  • Results-based Leadership style skill set with strong impact and influencing skills.

The base pay range for this position is $143,000 to $162,500 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, a full range of medical and other benefits is offered.
