VP – Operations & Manufacturing of established global Commercial & Industrial Equipment / Machinery $617+MM Manufacturing div. is seeking a proactive, driven, dynamic, confident, capable Strategic Sourcing leader with a proven track record of effective / successful management of strategic planning and execution. Also, true understanding for the importance of ensuring strong working relationships with all KEY company leaders / stakeholders, Vendors, etc. while keeping commitment to driving process improvements, ‘solving’ supply chain hurdles quickly and delivering agreed deadlines and results.

Position Outline and Key Responsibilities:

• One who is also data driven…with a strategic / continuous improvement / growth for company, staff, key stakeholders, perspective/mindset…plus, what works best for all (Company, staff, vendors, etc.)
• Spend Budget: To $305 MM
• No. of Major Stakeholders working with: 7
• “Drive” and “Ownership”
• Vendors: To 440
• One who is committed to ensuring “best” solutions / strategies quickly + how to get there, etc.
• One who is comfortable holding themselves and others accountable with executing required goals.
• MANUFACTURING exp.: A MUST
• Direct Reports: 4 / Indirect reports: 23
• One who effectively utilizes consistent strategic sourcing processes and e-procurement tools and understands the ‘best’ application for using specific tools.
• Proven “Action-oriented” / Assertive / Delivering required Results Consistently & Continuously mindset & management style / persona.
• Proven Tactical, Strategic, Directive experience and skills
• One who is comfortable / experienced with analyzing / improving existing processes, systems, practices and procedures effectively.
• One with proven experience with managing $300+ MM spend budget / 430+ Vendors efficiently and effective commercial negotiations.
• SAP knowledge / experience strongly preferred.
• Purchasing / Sourcing / Strategic Sourcing / Supply Chain exp.: A MUST

Education:

• MS - Strongly preferred
