Position Summary:
This position leads all aspects of the US Marketing function, including the building of brand plans for Zenpep and potentially future added brands. This position is also responsible for embedding and leading the frameworks which govern marketing across all geographies and products in Nestlé Health Science e.g. cross functional brand planning process. Also responsible for ensuring centralized marketing expertise that will support affiliates globally, including Omni-Channel Marketing, which will be essential capabilities for the organization’s success. This position is integral to our goal of becoming the leading company in the treatment of GI related diseases. This position is remote.

Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of Nestlé Health Science’s marketing vision and strategy including target patient identification, brand positioning, and brand character development.


  • Ensure that the team establishes clear brand performance tracking and diagnosis system and rapidly develop action plans for course correction.
  • Partner with clinical, medical and us market access colleagues to help create our value story for private and government payers globally
  • Manage and leverage the creative capabilities of external agencies to build brands and channel strategies. This includes the full range of marketing mix (traditional, large scale tv, digital) and customers (consumers, retailers, hcps)
  • Identify new capabilities that enable competitive advantage and enhance leadership and product usage for appropriate customers across all Marketing Brands and Customers.
  • Provide thought leadership by staying current with evolving online media and technology as well as competitive activity and trends
  • Establish effective frameworks, metrics, and strategies for brand building and channel marketing
  • Work with us collaborative partners to embed the brand plan, and through your team, partner on local execution
  • Manage the brand marketing budget

Required Expereince and Education:
  • Launch experience in US and outside US geographies
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%
  • Ability to build and manage teams to develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Proven experience with marketing of approved specialty therapeutics
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem solving, strategic analysis and planning capabilities, involving complex situations
  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent, MBA preferred, but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically, with proven track record of driving tactical execution within department, internal cross functional teams and external partners
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills and organizational experience
  • 10-15+ years' experience in commercial roles of increasing responsibility and ideally 7+ years' experience in the marketing of specialty products.

  • Strong knowledge of current digital marketing landscape
  • Successful experience achieving and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules
  • Strategic and creative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative leadership in developing marketing strategies and communications programs that engage a variety of diverse stakeholders
  • Require proven leadership experience including building, mentoring and retaining a high performing team
  • Require strong ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with competing priorities
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders including KOLs (key opinion leaders) and patient advocacy groups
  • Require ability to successfully work cross functionally to build relationships that drive results.

The approximate pay range for this position is $159,000 to $188,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
