A Little About The Role…


The Director, Payment Programs & Initiatives will own all strategic projects, provide oversight, and drive implementation of any required improvements and modifications to processes, workflows, and transformation initiatives. This position requires an outcome-oriented person with a track record of managing and delivering complex business projects within Financial Services. The person in this role must understand how to own a strategy, drive execution, tell stories, and build conviction across audiences. Candidates should be equal parts strategist, consultant, and engagement leader.


What You’ll Do


  • Track and report key milestones back to Senior Leadership
  • Engage in planning activities, driving the overall strategy, and defining the objectives while building and maintaining project plans
  • Educate key stakeholders of change and potential impact to business ensuring a positive experience through effective change management
  • Champion change, consistently sharing strategy to motivate key stakeholders and constituents
  • Ability to define a point of view, paint a vision, determine the direction, and execute at an accelerated rate
  • Consistently review business landscape to identify business challenges, define solutions, prioritize remediation, and drive execution
  • Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholder to review and document workflows, processes and procedures including assessment of tools to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and client experience
  • Remove barriers and challenges needing to deliver complex projects at an accelerated pace
  • Build rapport with key stakeholders to collectively address complex business issues
  • Serve as the primary business lead and decision maker on key projects and initiatives that impact our digital payments platform, Tuition Express


Requirements


Our Ideal Candidate will have…


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including attention to detail and the ability to succinctly communicate complex issues to audiences at all levels with appropriate presentation materials
  • 8+ years’ experience leading consulting engagements from vision to execution, with a track record of driving automation and organizational change
  • Pivot leadership to quickly adapt to evolving internal/external factors that can influence project outcomes
  • Lead effectively under pressure, consistently delivering work of a high standard within tight timeframes
  • Ability to interpret issues, prioritize, and communicate to Senior Management and key stakeholders regarding resolution plans and expectations

Salary


$150k-$175k DOE


Location


This position is based in our Denver office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver office a few days a week.
