Job Description

Director of Strategic Initiatives
This position sits in an extremely fast growing, highly acquisitive, multi-site women’s health BU of a private equity backed national healthcare provider. This role will sit in the COO’s office of this fast growing division and is responsible for the support, development and execution of strategic and operational initiatives. This position will work with the leaders across the $200M+ group, supporting key business initiatives that create customer and/or business value. This leader should be comfortable working with the C-Suite and key senior leaders across the organization.
Geography: The ideal candidate is located in Denver, CO. Exceptional candidates located outside of Denver that have experience with building strong relationships in a remote/hybrid environment would be considered.
Responsibilities
  • Drive research, analyses and material creation to enable decision-making
  • Project manage reporting across the organization and with the Board
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities / partnerships AND lead future project / business unit launches
  • Develop business / department specific models to identify financial opportunities
  • Drive high-priority initiatives and project execution with cross-functional teams; own and scale key existing strategic priorities for organization including:
  • Launch mental health services for the platform
  • Organizational capability building
  • Develop standards for the organization on quality work products
  • Scale fertility navigator services
  • Leadership support including capacity creation, KPI tracking and organization process improvement
  • Take initiative to help organization prioritize and scale effectively
  • Grow egg bank services, operations and P&L
Requirements
  • Experience in healthcare
  • 3-5+ years in management consulting or similar corporate function
  • MBA is preferred

  • Drive preparation for governance meetings in collaboration with departments
  • Organizational capability building
  • Drive research & analysis and material creation (PowerPoint decks) to enable decision-making
  • Reporting & Governance
  • Develop standards for the organization on quality work products
  • Support Office of the CEO to scope and drive preparation of governance meetings
  • Model how to effectively develop and communicate work products with departments
  • Drive high-priority initiative and project execution with cross-functional teams
  • Articulate the key strategic questions to answer based on market intel
  • Advise departmental and business leaders on strategic planning efforts
  • Maintain enterprise strategy, key value drivers, and initiatives to deliver the strategy Scope, define, and frame strategic initiatives with Executive Team (C-suite) and Office of the CEO
  • Research market landscape, customer demands, and competitive offerings, gathering feedback from Business Development, VBC teams, regional/in-market teammates, and affiliated practices
  • Synthesize market intel and communicate out to key stakeholders
  • Support the maintenance and execution of the integrated M&A and VBC go-to-market strategy
Requirements
  • MBA is preferred
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred (in house or consulting projects)
  • 3-5+ years in management consulting or similar corporate function

Bachelor’s Degree
