Ancestry is looking for a Director of Treasury, which manages the corporate treasury function including capital structure, cash management and forecasting, investments, foreign exchange risk management, and related activities. You are expected to manage the function and direction. Incumbents of this position will exercise discretionary authority.

What you will do...

• Hire, train, and manage the treasury staff
• Evaluate financing strategies and make recommendations observing capital needs for repatriation of cash
• Assess, manage, and mitigate interest rate and foreign currency exposure
• Maintain and develop long-term and short-term cash forecast by entities
• Perform miscellaneous responsibilities
• Ensure treasury activities are in compliance with treasury policies, corporate governance policies, and internal controls.
• Facilitate the risk management department and help identify and evaluate the inherent risks of loss to which we are exposed and selecting the most cost-effective method of protecting assets. Help develop and effectively managing insurance and other financial plans for treatment of these risks
• Oversee operation of the worldwide cash management system so that cash is concentrated, excess cash is invested according to short-term investment guidelines, and adequate bank statements, reports and services are provided for audit and financial accounting purposes. Ensure that all new bank accounts are opened according to our policy/procedure.
• Manage relationships with banks, investment advisors, and other financial service providers
• Produce required covenant calculations and associated documents for financial reporting purposes, and anticipate our performance in future quarters against required benchmarks

Who you are...

• M.B.A. or other advanced degree in finance, economics, statistics, or similar fields. CTP or CFA a plus
• Experience working with multinational companies
• 10+ years of experience in finance and treasury, with 5 years in managing corporate treasury; treasury background
• Bachelor's degree in finance or economics
• Understanding of capital markets, debt structures, international banking, and banking products
• Experience building complex financial models to evaluate multiple financial strategies
• Experience working with public companies, understanding how SEC reporting and SOX compliance, domestic and international tax requirements, and GAAP and statutory reporting impact the treasury function

As a signatory of the Parity Pledge in Support of Women and the Parity Pledge in Support of People of Color, Ancestry values pay transparency and pay equity. We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $ 122,000- $265,000 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision.
