What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• Make recommendations to enhance business and planning processes and finds opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
• Lead the strategic and tactical decision making to ensure company goals and objectives are met.
• Report to the Vice President of Global Supply Chain
• Lead partnership across internal functional partners including Procurement, Product Management, Project Management (NPD/Tech Transfer), External Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial / Marketing.
• Direct a team across multiple locations and is accountable for the execution of Global IBP (S&OP), Inventory, Supply planning.
• Develop teams to build E2E capabilities, improve supply chain effectiveness, driver performance primarily through excellent technical ability, coaching & leadership and benchmark leveraging.
• Maintain senior leader engagement in the IBP-Supply process to ensure that decisions are taken within the process. Responsible for driving business decisions on trade-offs including customer service and finance.
• Provide input and oversight to annual planning processes // strategic plan.
• Identify and communicates service risks to Operations and Commercial partners, developing and tracking recovery projections.
• Influence specific metrics for performance includes OTIF, Inventory, MAPE/BIAS, Backorder $, Aged BO days, and SLOB.
• Focus on driving and maintaining improvements for regional & strategic code OTIF.
• Be responsible for directing a team of skilled associates, ensuring that worldwide allocations / deployments of inventory deliver the most effective customer service experience for our customers worldwide.
• Work in close collaboration with the sales teams, global strategic marketing, demand forecasting group, internal/external operations-CMO partners, projects, and manufacturing groups to ensure that there is a clear and concise process for proactively managing supply and customer fulfillment.
• Design and manage the core supply chain processes, supporting the business supply Chain teams in implementation.
• Lead development of inventory plan during the strategic planning, annual business, and monthly update processes.

What you will bring to the table:

• Strong planning process knowledge. Deep capabilities in planning systems and reporting.
• Ability to forge collaboration across all levels of the enterprise.
• Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Planning, E-mail, Flow Charts and management of database tools is required
• Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing, supply chain planning, logistics, and/or procurement experience is required
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University Degree is required. MBA or equivalent degree is preferred
• Ability to oversee management of significant amounts of data from a complex supply chain with large number of product codes. Attention to detail even in an environment with significant data.
• MUST HAVE – Medical Device Understanding/Experience
• Availability to travel up to 10%
• Ability to negotiate and influence without direct line authority.
• Experience working across operations / commercial teams strongly preferred.
• A strong communicator with ability to make the complex clear and compelling communications to all levels in both written and oral forms.
• Experience working in IBP/S&OP Planning environment is highly preferred.
• People leadership experience.
