Description: Due to continued, planned, growth we are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our exceptional team. This is a strategic and managerial position that is responsible for all aspects of the sales lifecycle for new and existing business. This role supports our account managers and sales team to meet the ongoing needs of clients while accomplishing internal KPIs and goals within the team and liaising with various other leaders and departments within Charles IT.
What Do We Do? Create real relationships and raving fans while implementing and supporting best in class technology.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead a solid inside/outside sales team that exceeds sales goals
  • Ensure sales and projects pipeline remain full with qualified leads and opportunities
  • Maintain and manage in-depth product knowledge of Charles IT’s offerings and services
  • Assignment and balancing of accounts throughout the Account Management team
  • Establish both the market and target customer strategies for the company
  • Ensure happiness and profitability for all new and existing accounts through continued stack attainment and standardization within our client base
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on the design and build of new services and product offerings
  • Establish annual and quarterly sales objectives in coordination with the company’s business plan
  • Ownership of the “OML” and quarterly business review processes which includes endlessly improving delivery, content and value
  • Maintain quarterly check-ins and continual coaching and feedback to team members as needed
  • Develop training programs to improve and refine the skills of the sales team
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of a growing company and client base
  • High energy and drive with good negotiation skills
  • 5+ years of managerial experience required
  • Current, valid US driver's license is required.
  • High level of organization; sharp attention to detail
  • Review publications and online materials to remain up-to-date with current and future trends emerging in the industry
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field; and 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education preferably in the technology field
  • Prior experience leading account managers or sales team strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of the sales lifecycle
  • Experience with ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, Office 365 platform and Advanced Support on Mac OS is a plus
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and work with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executives and C-level
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple client needs with the ability to multi-task and function collaboratively as a member of a fast-paced, client orientated team
