What we are looking for


This individual will develop sales targets, guide and mentor our Sales Consultants, manage the sales process and forecast outcomes. Strong communication, interpersonal, and goal-setting skills are essential. Experience in an e-commerce and manufacturing environment is highly preferred.


Responsibilities


Coaching The Director of Sales develops, trains, and implements a "Best Practice" clienteling standard to help achieve planned sales goals.


  • Coaches team members on maintaining professionalism in lead format.
  • Coaches team members on identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities.
  • Ensures adherence to established processes and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Sets individual goals with members of the sales team, and creates paths to achieve those goals through training and insight.
  • Provides consistent, constructive feedback to sales staff.


Leadership The Director of Sales ensures that planned sales goals are regularly met.


  • Routes issues to the correct people
  • Distributes leads to team members as needed.
  • Ensures deals progress smoothly through the sales process.
  • Monitors incoming chats, emails, and leads, ensuring timely follow-up.


Reporting The Director of Sales reports to the CEO.


  • Shares reports with staff and stakeholders, providing insights on growth and opportunity.
  • Identifies customer requests that are not being met and reports on related trends.
  • Presents sales trends to the Marketing Director and the CEO, to assist in making data-driven decisions.


Process and Analysis The Director of Sales establishes overall sales objectives and methodology to achieve monthly sales quotas.


  • Tracks numbers on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Reviews every order to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Has a working knowledge of our sales process platforms (specifically Hubspot and Shopify)
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline processes for better customer engagement
  • Creates new processes and provides training where necessary.


Qualifications And Skills


  • At least 3 years of supervising experience
  • Experience in an e-commerce environment is a plus
  • Adept at sales data analysis
  • Proficient in Shopify and Hubspot is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • At least 4 years of sales and management experience
  • Able to monitor and report progress in sales goals
  • Accomplished at mentoring and coaching a sales team
  • Understanding of basic construction industry is helpful but not required
  • Able to develop budgets
  • Able to create and implement a sales plan
  • Possesses management and leadership skills


Salary and Benefits The salary range is between $70,000 and $80,000 with a quarterly sales bonus in addition to salary. RealCraft offers an excellent healthcare package to our employees, including vision and dental. Paid holidays are included, as well as the opportunity to join a matching IRA program.
