Role Overview

The Director of Product Management is responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of new and existing product offering throughout the product lifecycle. You will continuously build an understanding the ever-changing competitive landscape, gather and prioritize customer requirements, define the product vision that aligns to BlueSky Innovations strategy, and work with engineering, marketing, business development, sales, operations, and finance to ensure success.


Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field of study is required. Master degree in business or MBA focused in sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, project management, or business development is a plus.


•10+ Years experience and proven success in product or business development with an emphasis in Project Management.

•Expertise in the development of product road maps, market analysis and intelligence, product definition, new product introduction, and lifecycle analysis.


Responsibilities

•Define the product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio that aligns to company strategy.


•Efficiently translate customer opportunities and industry technology gaps into competitive product or service offerings. Drive innovation, consistently achieve New Product Vitality Index (NPVI) targets for all new product releases.


•Works closely with business development and sales team to craft product messaging, sales tools, and collateral material for sales and marketing campaigns. Including tradeshows, panel committees, and other public or private events.


•Drive and deliver revenue and production planning forecasts with sales, business development, and operations team.


Additional Competencies

•Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications and enterprise business systems such as PLM, ERP, MRP. Excellent verbal and written communication of English language, comfortable communicating to small and large groups.


•Genuinely exhibits a positive and passionate “can-do” working energy. High personal accountability, integrity, and dependability. Manages time efficiently and is self-driven with minimal guidance, leverages the knowledge and capabilities of others.


•This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
