The Director of Product Management will oversee TrueNAS product management and have a major influence over the direction of TrueNAS software and iXsystems business strategy.


Business Responsibilities


  • Support the Sales Organization in generating new business
  • Grow and train the team as needed to meet business objectives
  • Manage the TrueNAS Product Line (software & hardware)
  • Develop new product ideas in collaboration with Engineering


Duties/Responsibilities


  • Consult with SVP Engineering and Sales Leadership to create roadmaps for TrueNAS
  • Collaborate and contract with external partners
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee progress and timeliness of new products
  • Provide technical and business leadership to the company
  • Manage new products from concept to testing to production to sales.
  • Plan for TrueNAS for 3-5 years


Requirements


  • Extensive technical knowledge of storage and software
  • Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork
  • Proficient in Project Management and Documents creation software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Education And Experience


  • At least five years of storage-related experience required.
  • Knowledge of TrueNAS and its market preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline required; Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.


Physical Requirements


  • Ability to travel to meetings with customers
  • Ability to present and motivate sales and engineering teams
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


Base Pay Range


  • The base pay range of this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually. Additional compensation through the Incentive Bonus Program is available for this position.


Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for positions in the job category within which this position falls. The actual offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location, education, and prior experience.
