Job Description

Director of Operations - $100K-$150K


LHH is seeking an experienced director of operations for our financial services client in Austin TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling a large number of loan origination processes, establishing optimal practices in that area, and effectively managing an underwriting team.


This individual should be capable of assessing existing processes to identify inefficiencies, determining areas requiring additional team members, monitoring performance metrics, creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and designing appropriate compensation structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of multiple teams
  • Review team members’ work to verify compliance with procedures and performance targets
  • Maintain frequent collaboration with various departments
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements by closely monitoring workflows
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, recruiting and performance reviews
  • Create and execute protocols and guidelines to enhance operational effectiveness


Required Background:

  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Experience using advanced CRM systems
  • Track record of providing teams daily constructive feedback for improvement
  • Ability to work onsite during normal business hours
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or insurance industries
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing people
  • Degree in Business or related field


Compensation:

$100K-$150K
