Director Of Operations Jobs

Amotec has been engaged in a search for a Director of Operations with our client, a family owned $1B manufacturer that specializes in offering a wide range of DIY solutions. The Director of Operations will be located at our client’s manufacturing site in Omaha, NE and will be responsible for ensuring operational functions are being performed in an efficient manner. The Director of Operations will lead a senior leadership team of five in Operations, Engineering, Safety, Supply Chain, and Quality. The primary objectives will be to focus on workforce engagement, talent attraction, and talent development. Our client offers a completive salary, bonus, benefits and relocation assistance.

Director of Operations Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing processes to reduce cost and improve customer service
• Manage the safe and efficient flow of all manufacturing processes.
• Develop and manage operating budget, along and the development of 5 year strategic plans aligning with future opportunities

Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience managing a large manufacturing site preferably Chemical Manufacturing*
• Knowledge Process Safety Management, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement processes
• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes consisting of chemicals and metals
