Job Description

Kelly has an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Director of Operations to join an established Capital Equipment manufacturer in the Greater Milwaukee area. This newly created role is a Direct Hire opportunity with a starting salary of $120,000 - $160,000 based on experience and an excellent benefits package. This is an in-facility position, and you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of a vital company during a period of tremendous growth. The primary focus of this role falls in three areas:


  1. Managing purchasing, scheduling, and production
  2. Ensuring operational efficiency
  3. Driving continuous improvement


Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Overseeing the purchasing function and managing inventory levels
  • Leading and managing the operations team
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborating with other department heads to align operational processes
  • Implementing safety protocols and best practices
  • Monitoring key performance indicators and metrics
  • Monitoring and controlling operational budgets
  • Continuously assessing and improving production processes


Skills and Requirements:


  • 10 + years of proven leadership in the manufacturing world
  • Proactive, innovative, and a can-do attitude for challenges and process improvement
  • Bachelor’s Degree in: Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar field. Master’s Degree a big plus.
  • Top-level expertise in purchasing, scheduling, and production process best practices
  • Acumen in finance and budget management
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills
