Job Description
Are you a marketing leader looking for your next challenge? As our Director of Marketing, your passion for marketing and business will drive us forward to achieve new heights. This is a remote role, with a preference for Dallas/Austin, TX.
You'll lead the charge in promoting our brand and manage our talented marketing department, guiding the team's creative direction and technical development toward achieving our goals.
To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in marketing or a similar field. At least 10 years of experience in corporate marketing, including 3+ years of project management experience. The ideal candidate will also have previous leadership experience. A passion for and experience within insurance/financial services is desired! Tools: Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing platforms, and website CMS is a plus.
Your focus:
  • Creative Direction, Design, and Technical: you'll ensure product marketing materials, website, and ads are compliant. Work with team to brainstorm ideas on creative direction for new product lines, and materials. Collaborate with Designer and Copywriter on briefs for new Point of Sale (POS) materials.
  • Client and Vendor Relations: communicate with agents and automotive dealers on marketing needs. Work closely with print, web, and event planner vendors.
  • Marketing Leadership: lead a team of five marketing professionals. You'll determine the strategy for incoming marketing requests, create annual media plans, and work with outside vendors to streamline progress. Work closely with the external event planning team to coordinate all off-site iA American events (NADA, Winners' Circle, iA LIVE). You'll provide direction and review all copies with the Copywriter. Collaborate with the Art Director and Multi-Media Manager to provide feedback on new designs and video projects.
  • Administration/Reporting: maintain a budget and review department invoices. Maintain Trello board for team member responsibilities.
