Overview
The Director of Maintenance is responsible for planning, directing, staffing and counseling employees in the areas of maintenance. Maintain optimum working order of the facility as well as service areas in resident and general areas of the facility and grounds.
What you will do
  • Approves orders for equipment and supplies, as authorized.
  • Provides effective human resources management to maximize employee and organizational performance.
  • Routine work orders are picked up and resolved within 24 hours during normal duty hours. Non-routine work orders completed in a timely manner.
  • Plan and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all applicable equipment.
  • Reviews and recommends approval for contracted work.
  • Assemble and catalog directory of all current contracts and vendors.
  • Responsible for the orientation, assignment of work tasks, supervision, staffing and training of direct reports.
  • Coordinates department services to ensure interdepartmental cooperation. Services are perceived as favorable.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelors Degree, Related Field (Preferred)
  • , High school or equivalent (Required)

  • Supervisory experience (Required)
  • Recent relevant experience (Required)
