Job Description

Schedule: This is a Monday - Friday, Day position with occasional weekends and holidays.

Salary: $90k - $112k BOE

  • Offer Pay in Lieu of Benefits, for up to an 18% increase to pay!

About the position:

The Director of Home and Community Based Services will oversee all functions of the Home Health, Home Care and Senior Choice at Home program associated with Gulf Coast Villages. This position will be the Home Health Administrator of record. Plans, develops and directs new and existing programs ensuring the general well-being of residents through the delivery of high quality care. Monitors compliance with local and state regulations as well as GCV policy and procedure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

  • Works well independently and with minimum supervision.
  • Proficiency with various business software, including Microsoft Office.
  • Must meet and/all state licensing requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service focused.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations.
  • Possesses well-developed interpersonal skills. Good communicator.
  • Organized and attentive to detail.
  • Team player attitude essential.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, health service administration, business administration, Social Services, therapy or related field or equivalent education and experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory or administrative position.
  • High degree of professionalism; able to deal with extremely confidential information.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Two (2) year experience in position of increasing responsibility in business, preferably healthcare.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Home Care Management:

  • Assist in preparing an annual operating budget with the Executive Director and Director of Finance.
  • Provide leadership in the development of strategic long-range plans.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the agency’s ongoing functions in the delivery of programs and services.
  • Identify and implement the organizational structure to direct agency goals in expansion of services.
  • Direct and coordinate the overall development and administration of the agency consistent with available resources and with the involvement of the agency staff.
  • Provides direction in formulating the program and policies/procedures.
  • Develop and maintain data collection, recording, and reporting systems to ensure proper service
  • Ensure compliance with local and state regulations governing home care services through policy and procedure administration.
  • Investigate and make recommendations to the Executive Director for future growth of all services and products.
