As the Director of Global Extended Operations, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our extended operations team delivering across a global network. Your responsibilities will revolve around overseeing supplier performance at scale, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and providing exceptional people leadership to ensure high performing and efficient operations . Responsibilities:


People Leadership:


  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals within the extended operations function..
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth.


Supplier Performance Management:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier performance management strategy to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery from our global partners.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers, ensuring they understand performance expectations and are aligned with the company's goals and values.
  • Leverage key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance measurement frameworks to monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.


Stakeholder Management:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their operational needs, address concerns, and align extended operations strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates, performance reports, and action plans as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various lines of businesses and horizontal service functions.


Global Supply Optimization:


  • Work closely with the workforce teams to identify opportunities for optimization and cost efficiency in the extended operations footprint.
  • Anticipate potential supply risks and develop contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Identify and implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvements to enhance overall operational effectiveness.


Compliance and Risk Management:


  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to supply disruptions, geopolitical factors, or changes in market conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant international regulations, industry standards, and internal policies pertaining to extended operations.


The associate will be traveling to visit international sites, and there will be no expectation to work in the office during non-travel days or weeks. The associate will be expected to travel an average of 60% of the time.


Basic Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of experience in an operations environment
  • At least 7 years of experience supporting, partnering or interacting with internal business clients
  • At least 5 years of Process Management experience OR at least 5 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 7 years of People Management experience
  • At least 1 year of experience gathering, monitoring, documenting, or analyzing data
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Process or Project Management certification (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, PMP), Business Management certification
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • Ability to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams
  • At least 2 years of experience gathering, monitoring, documenting, or analyzing data
  • At least 5 years of experience managing third party supplier relationships
  • At least 5 years of experience in risk management and strategy development
