Our team has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance and Accounting responsible for managing and directing the accounting function and financial reporting for all divisions within Wearwell LLC and Wearwell Europe Ltd. Incumbent will facilitate strategic and tactical initiatives while supporting the business in achieving its strategic objectives. This a hybrid position

Responsibilities

• Manage and train accounting team members including target setting and development.
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Cross-functionally develop the annual business plan ensuring financial plans are consistent with organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Manage financial data that will assist management and other users in making educated economic decisions.
• Summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• React positively to change and perform other duties as requested.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
• Responsible for detailed profitability analysis at all levels for all areas of the organization and facilitating the drive for improved operational results and efficiency.
• Oversee preparation and submission of financials and other lender reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and lead the annual operating plan/budget process.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct annual financial statement audit process.
• International - address various accounting and tax matters, as necessary.

Qualifications

• Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel); experience with Epicor desired.
• Reliable attendance is necessary.
• Able to meet deadlines consistently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Willing to participate on video calls/team meetings via web camera.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and seven (7) years job-related experience in a manufacturing plant or operations environment and/or equivalent education and experience in job-related activities.
• Collaborative with good verbal and written communication skills.
