Job Description

St. Mary's & Clearwater Valley Health is seeking a Director of Facilities to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospital and clinic locations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude with other team members. This position will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the facility, including but not limited to maintenance, cleaning, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and more. The Director will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee preventative maintenance programs
  • Oversee equipment purchases and vendor relationships
  • Ensure that all building systems are in good working order
  • Oversee equipment troubleshooting and repair as needed
  • Oversee compliance with all St. Mary's & Clearwater Valley Health standards including OSHA regulations regarding hazardous waste sites and related activities at sites.
  • Oversee equipment storage and asset management throughout the year as needed to ensure that all hospital and clinic facilities meet St. Mary's & Clearwater Valley Health’s high standards for safety, security, sanitation, sanitation standards, cleanliness, etc.
  • Oversee equipment testing and calibration as needed
  • Oversee HVAC maintenance and scheduling
  • Ensure that all electrical systems are in good working order
  • Manage construction projects and ensure that they are completed in a timely manner
  • Oversee equipment storage and asset management as needed
  • Oversee equipment installation and upgrades as needed
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility
  • Oversee equipment distribution as needed to ensure proper placement of equipment in all hospital and clinic locations.

Responsible for the overall management of the maintenance department. Oversees all maintenance activities in regard to the hospital property and manages all of the maintenance staff members. Manage contractors, leases, and budgets related to buildings and facilities. Assist with planning and execution of building and construction or renovation.

Minimum Qualification and Education:

-5 years related experience, preferred.

-Bachelor's Degree, required.
