The JOB: Director of Facilities

LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort is seeking a Director of Facilities with an energetic personality and a "hands on" approach to management. LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort is a 189-room property situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico in beautiful Naples, FL. Candidates must have the technical knowledge and skill sets to direct all repairs and maintenance of a full-service Resort, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, buildings, multiple kitchens, and water features to include laundry and spa facilities and 5 swimming pools. The Director of Facilities provides training and supervision to 10+ engineering staff. He/She will provide all aspects of management to include scheduling, delegating, training manage contracted labor and oversee capitol enhancing projects.

Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

EPA Certified HVAC Training OSHA Training Working knowledge of Chillers, Boilers, Ice Machines, Kitchen, Laundry and Housekeeping equipment Certified Pool Operators License Excel, Word, and Outlook computer knowledge 5 Years’ Experience as a Director of Facilities in upscale resort
