The Position: The Director of Facilities is responsible for managing and overseeing the facilities operations at McKinley. They provide strategic direction, planning, and execution of all activities related to the maintenance, safety, and functionality of the physical infrastructure. The Director of Facilities ensures that the organization's facilities meet the needs of employees, clients, and visitors, while adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices in facilities management.


Compensation And Benefits


The pay range we’re offering is $70,000 - $90,000 annually(Based) on experience.

Qualifications


  • Minimum two (2) years college; Related field certificates will be considered
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance best practices, and relevant regulations.
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ work experience performing general maintenance including moderately complex plumbing, general carpentry and electrical repairs
  • Experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control.


Physical Skills Required


  • Ability to work extended shifts
  • Ability to commute to various sites
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and kneel


Clearances Required


  • Insurability under Corporate Automobile Insurance
  • DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.
  • Monitor and analyze facility performance indicators, implement improvements, and report on key metrics.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of facility assets.
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness and business continuity plans.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility-related services, such as maintenance, cleaning, security, and waste management.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for effective facilities management.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify long-term facility needs and support future growth plans.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on facility-related investments, renovations, and expansion projects.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and budget variance analysis to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of space allocation, leases, and occupancy agreements.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of the organization's facilities, including buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, including capital expenditure forecasting and cost control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
