LOCATION: California

SALARY: $81,000 - $107,500 | Exceptional benefits package

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

INDUSTRY: Non-Profit - Legal

THE ROLE

The Director role will manage the compliance work, grants administration and project management. Work with the Executive Director, Director of Administration, and will be part of the executive team that leads the organization. Be the subject matter expert of the company case management system. Audit, monitor and update internal policies. Maintaining data, training case management system users, and implementing the organizations legal technology solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide grant program administration, compliance, and management to include submissions, compliance monitoring and reporting on all local, private, state, and local federal grants and provide grant support and compliance guidance for all field offices.

• Conduct legal services contract administration and data analysis.

• Lead in the implementation of Legal Server new case management system, and development of new legal technology software, programs, and concepts to build an efficient process.

• Develop policies and procedures for consistent and clear compliance systems.

• Conduct data management and reporting to Board of Trustees, Leadership Team, staff, and stakeholders

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and discernment as a member of the Leadership Team.

• Experience in regulations and California State Bar requirements.

• Coordinate with contractor and staff to implement Legal Server.

SKILLS AND MUST -HAVES

• Juris Doctorate (JD) and/or bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Expert with Legal Services Corporation, California State Bar, Department of Justice or large private, state, or federal grant funders.

• Three plus years of experience in regulatory audit and compliance, data analysis, in a legal setting or related field.

• Ability to create reports, conduct audits and analyze data.

• Project Management experience and expertise (certification preferred)

• Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.

• Highly preferred experience in LSC Grants Administration.
