Job Description
DIRECTOR OF BRAND MARKETING
What You'll Do
The Director of Brand Marketing is responsible for brand management and brand marketing activities that drive network expansion, both organically and inorganically. Specifically, this position is responsible for overseeing brand marketing activities connected to our growth strategy. As a leader within the Brand Strategy organization, this position is charged with helping to represent the voice of our brand, as well as with partners/ external stakeholders.
ROLES EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the property business plan, target markets, and brand positioning. Designs and implements marketing strategies to promote engagement, acquisition, and retention across all communication channels.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Regularly report on marketing performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, advertising, social media, events, and public relations.
  • Promotions & Sponsorships: Leads in the creation and execution of on- and off-property promotions and activations, including property-wide events, product alignment, sports sponsorships and casino promotions.
  • Compliance: Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures, specifically related to websites and promotions.
  • Brand Management: Oversee brand development and management, ensuring consistency and alignment across all marketing initiatives and communications. Works with both external and internal resources to ensure all brand standards are upheld.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Continuously assess and recommend new digital marketing tools, platforms, and strategies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Budget Management: Assist CMO in the development and management of all marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective marketing initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Help build and lead a high-performing marketing team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with property leadership teams, including Food & Beverage, Convention Sales, Entertainment, Retail, Casino Marketing, CRM, Hotel, Revenue Management, and Human Resources to ensure brand execution and marketing strategies align with business goals and objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position supervises the Brand Marketing Manager
Requirements
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as digital reporting, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings.
  • Ability to write effective letters, memos, presentation decks, and articles for publication.
  • Must be comfortable with interacting and continual communications with C-level, VP and other senior management level positions.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from team members at all levels, guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Minimum five years of experience in brand management and/or brand marketing with supervisory experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 10 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
