Our client, an established real estate investment and operating firm, is searching for an Director of Asset Management to join their growing team. This person will be responsible for managing the firms multifamily portfolio in the Southeast, and a great opportunity to join a industry leading firm during an inflection point of growth. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, this client has invested over a half a billion in principal investments.

The Director of Asset Management will be responsible for:

• Communicate regularly with investors, partners, and key stakeholders through presentations, reporting, and individual requests.
• Disposition of assets
• Ad hoc investment and asset management related work (e.g. reporting, financing activities, disposition activities, corporate initiatives)
• Lead the budget process and provide information / analysis on recommended capital projects
• Thorough understanding of multifamily financial analysis
• Actively participate in new multifamily acquisition and development efforts alongside Partners and Multifamily team
• All asset management functions including regional and property strategic planning, property operations, portfolio budgeting and forecasting, redevelopment analysis, development underwriting and planning, and hold/sell strategy

The Director of Asset Management has the following qualifications:

• Bachelor degree from a top tier institution
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Excellent understanding of Excel with spreadsheet analysis experience
• Ability to frequently travel to assets
• 7+ years in experience in multifamily asset management
