Director of Acute Care Services - 1.0 FTE Full-time Exempt Nursing Management Position managing our Medical/Surgical and ICU units
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN or higher degree preferred), current license as an RN in Wisconsin, 3 years of experience in critical care nursing with ACLS certification preferred, three years of progressive nursing management, effective interpersonal and organizational skills and proficient in computerized EMR systems.
Plans, organizes, and directs patient care activities for both the Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care Units. Implements standards of nursing practice, manages staff members and unit activities. Obtains and controls equipment and supplies. Prepares, monitors and evaluates an annual budget, action plan and performance improvement plan. Interviews, hires, supervises, and evaluates nursing and support personnel. Responsible for contracts and charge master. Participates in developing nursing policies and procedures for the department.
