MU Health Care is excited to announce an opening for a Director of Nursing Services, a role instrumental in shaping the culture, strategy, and quality of patient care. This position is central to the daily operations of our nursing services, directing nursing initiatives and supporting the hospital's broader goals. The Director will develop strategic and operational plans, manage budgets for clinical nursing areas, and direct the performance of our nursing staff to ensure excellent, patient-centered care. This role is also vital in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, driving continuous performance improvement, and supporting our journey to achieve Magnet designation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master’s of Science in Nursing degree.
Master’s degree in nursing, hospital administration, or a related area.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri or Nurse Licensure Compact Multi-State RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Five (5) years of experience in a nursing management position.
