The Nike NCAA Promo Team Services Director will play a critical role in providing on-time product delivery and world-class service to athletes, schools, and fans. They are responsible for partnering cross-functionally (internally & externally) to develop processes, tools, and operational excellence to deliver positive business results.
The Director of Nike NCAA Promo Team Services is a servant leader and team player who desires to be part of something bigger than themself. The Director is curious, analytical, and demonstrates exceptional communication.
This role will be based in Portland, Oregon.
What You Will Be Doing...
  • High-Profile Communicator with ability to provide clear direction & effectively communicate throughout the organization at every level.
  • Drive process innovation & improvement, relentlessly seek to innovate & improve; from process to tools and systems.
  • Listen, learn, lead change & deliver results, ability to create & develop different reports to analyze/track the business and educate the organization.
  • As Director, Promo/Team Services supporting Nike NCAA this role will lead and partner with Fanatics x-functional teams (product, planning, licensing, manufacturing, tech) and key external partners on the Nike team, to provide on-time product delivery and world-class service to schools, teams, & brands.
  • Perform the role of Player-Coach, ability to lead and execute. Capable of getting into the trenches.
  • Represent Fanatics at Nike meetings (Product, Sports Mktg, Operations, other) and present with schools (in partnership with Fanatics Licensing) if/when asked.
  • Partner with Fanatics x-functional leaders (product, planning, licensing, manufacturing, tech, and others), Nike Sports Mktg + Operations to provide on-time product delivery and world-class service to schools, teams, & brands.
  • Understand the sport calendar & demonstrate discipline to deliver on-time.
  • Lead the Nike NCAA Promo Team Services strategy, process, & planning from order intake & auditing to fulfillment.
  • Develop trusting relationships throughout Fanatics & within Nike.
What You Will Bring...

  • Ability to form culture at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, planning, order management, or related field; 10-15 years of work experience in sports licensing, sales management, relationship management, or relevant consumer product industry with or without a degree. Degree strongly preferred
  • Analytical skills, inclusive of understanding data, reporting capabilities
  • Sports fan a plus
  • Passionate, curious problem solver.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and balance multiple workstreams.
  • Understanding of AirTable and ERP, CRM platforms/systems
  • Strategic thinker with ability to utilize data & business analysis to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people & drive cross-functional alignment to deliver business results.
  • Change agent/change management skillset.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the job
  • Experience working in, and the ability to navigate a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience working with licensed product, brand, league, &/or business model is preferred
  • Experience managing a team of individuals, providing leadership, ability to grow a new team, providing support, continuous feedback and development.
  • Strong understanding of the go-to-market process (end to end; from creation to commercialization & delivery) and impact on supply chain
  • Advanced skill level in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with data warehouses and database management
