Position Overview:
The Global Medical Affairs Lead will strategically partner within the medical and scientific community to support innovation, advocate, and educate to advance nutritional, clinical and health practices to make an impact on people’s health and well-being. This specific position will cover the area of evidence-based nutritional solutions for the management of metabolic health with specific focus on diabetes and obesity.

A day in the life of a Global Medical Affairs Lead:
  • Provide medical/scientific training and/or tools and materials to facilitate training in support of the NHSc portfolio
  • Plan, prepare and execute the communication plan for NHSc publications
  • Assess evidence gaps and opportunities to support NHSc products and related services
  • Lead and deliver high quality medical education and training to HCPs
  • Support innovation process to ensure patients’ and consumer needs and centricity and HCPs expectation and relevancy
  • Provide guidance on relevant communication and claims) throughout product lifecycle
  • Inform commercial strategy (target patient/consumer and HCP)
  • Lead and execute medical affairs strategy for Metabolic Health; inform product development and commercialization by contributing relevant insights and medical expertise
  • Liaise/Partner with external stakeholders, e.g., key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients and industry associations
•The preferred location of candidates will be East coast due to frequent travel to the home office located in Hoboken, NJ and work with our Global team in Vevey, Switzerland (CST time zone)

What will make you successful:
  • Strong scientific background, proven clinical experience and good skills to translate from science to clinical development
  • Market experience and/or experience of working in an international & multicultural environment
  • Experience in technical / scientific writing and communication
  • Fluent in English, any other language is an asset
  • Experience in using scientific and clinical data in a creative and competitive way and simplifying complex concepts and data from R&D to platform and external stakeholders
  • A proven track record in managing external stakeholders, preferably with an established network in the therapeutic area
  • MD or RD with a PhD with clinical experience in the therapeutic area and strong patient insights.
  • Industry Experience in Medical and Scientific Affairs in cardiometabolic and weight management areas.

The approximate pay range for this position is $235,000-$264,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
