Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the FP&A transformation working group, external SME consultants, and Technology partners to develop a multi-year roadmap and implementation plan for a dynamic end-to-end planning tool, unlocking additional opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation.
• Partner with various FP&A, Business Performance & BU Leads on priorities, and handle roadmap and deliverables to ensure focus on high impact areas.
• Develop and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for delivering progressive products and services across FP&A and Business Systems domains, including in EPM, Business Performance, ERP, and Management and Executive Reporting areas. Effectively communicate the systems vision, strategy, and progress updates to the CFO and Finance Leadership Team.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing standardized practices and process improvements for financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, among other related areas.
• Prioritize for innovation to build and improve products and services with a special focus on addressing unmet customer needs.
• Partner with Technology partners on improving Engineering Velocity through process improvements and technology advancements.
• Lead the FP&A transformation program with a focus on driving improvements through our people, process, and technology capabilities, enabling the FP&A organization to be a forward-thinking and forward-looking business enabler.
• Lead a hard-working team of Product Managers, Business Systems Analysts, Data Scientist & PMO professionals responsible for managing and delivering key business performance data sets, reports and insights for the CFO and BU organizations.
• Manage change effectively to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems by conducting training and development programs for the FP&A team and other partners.
• Collaborate with Finance, Analytics and Technology partners in building and/or onboarding advanced reporting and analytics solutions to significantly reduce time to insight and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading process improvement or transformation projects in FP&A or related Finance functions.
• Strong project management and change management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and get results.
• Appreciation of eBay culture and DNA.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with a blend of Finance, Analytics, or Finance Systems roles with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company is preferred.
• Experience in implementing customer-focused, dynamic, and scalable solutions across EPM, ERP, and Business Performance areas.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Science solutions.
• Ability to lead a very hardworking and diverse team of product managers, business systems analysts, data scientists, and PMOs.
• Strong Finance and Business Acumen, as well as Product Leadership and Technical Skills are crucial to be effective in this role.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize sophisticated data and communicate insights to senior management.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.

$160,400 - $254,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
