Reporting to the VP of Fitness & Wellbeing FP&A, we have a unique opportunity that calls for a highly analytical and ambitious finance professional to join our Fitness & Wellbeing FP&A team. The Director of Fitness & Wellbeing FP&A will play a strategic role in forecasting, business planning, management reporting, and business analytics activities. This analytical and strategic leader will oversee the tools and processes necessary to help us scale for the future in a highly visible role that includes frequent interaction with the CFO, Finance Leadership Team, and other senior leaders.


The Director of Fitness & Wellbeing FP&A will bring proven experience managing the planning activities of a large, complex company with operations spread across the globe. They will be a change leader and value-add business partner comfortable with managing multiple, high visibility priorities. They will be a thought leader and have the potential to ascend to more senior roles within the organization.


Responsibilities


  • Manage a finance analyst; provide mentorship, guidance and opportunities for development
  • Lead the analysis and interpretation of operating results, preparation of executive reports, review of financing activities, and analysis of financial effects of various contemplated actions
  • Lead the financial analysis of business decisions and provide recommendations to the VP of Fitness & Wellbeing FP&A and executive leadership
  • Analyze and report on financial performance and KPIs (including LTV, CAC, NDR, etc.) in support of the company’s external financial reporting requirements
  • Leverage a sophisticated FP&A infrastructure to translate company specific and external industry data into key strategic insights that drive forward-thinking business decisions
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and prepare executive level presentations for C-level staff members, and the Board of Directors, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze and forecast company performance
  • Drive continuous improvement to produce innovation in reporting, planning and analysis
  • Oversee the annual and long-term planning process, quarterly forecasts, and monthly close and reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Work in conjunction with Strategy and Business Development teams on strategic corporate matters, business development initiatives and special projects


Qualifications


Qualifications


  • CPA or CFA is a plus
  • Financial Planning & Analysis experience growing through the ranks of FP&A to enhance support capabilities (predictive modeling, analytics, etc.)
  • Strong Professional and Educational background; Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or quantitative field required
  • Experience with BI Tools (PowerBI, Adaptive Insights, Looker, Periscope, etc.) and/or SQL is a must; experience with NetSuite and OneStream is preferred, but not required
  • 8+ years of progressive professional experience demonstrating increasing responsibility, scope, and leadership across multiple Finance and/or FP&A functions

  • Demonstrated experience with core accounting processes and general ledger interaction

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility, able to manage fast paced change in growing a company
  • Track record of delivering high quality financial analysis and reporting
