Director Financial Operations - Healthcare | $150K

Looking for a sharp finance individual to join this new team at a solid healthcare company. They are expanding their portfolio and will be adding a Director of Financial Operations to focus on their new branch. Ideally, they would like someone with acute care experience and/or someone that has worked for a hospital or hospital group. Role will be a blend of accounting and FP&A and will be a part of building out this team. This position can be remote, but they would prefer someone Nashville based as they do have an office here.
JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in initial input and assumptions for annual budget process
• Monthly Income Statement trend analysis and other preparation for review of financial reports with Operations
• Ensure G/L integrity is maintained
• Assist in ongoing accounting operations that will deliver continuous improvement around standardization, scalability, and automation.
• Perform monthly close in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee accounting support for facilities of varying complexity, including all SOX control monitoring
• Act as key point of contact for external and internal auditors

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Manage up to 3 direct reports and 10 indirect reports
• Must have at Management experience with leadership of accountants and experience with influencing operational management and deciphering financial data into actionable operational information and working with senior operational leadership
• Must have Healthcare Experience
• BS Accounting Degree
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding of new talent (external hires and internal promotions/transfers)
