Director, Enterprise Architect Jobs

To accomplish this, we need a strong future state architecture roadmap and execution plan that is built around cloud first, multi-cloud strategy, modernization of legacy systems and applications, rationalization of data which enables transformation into information as quickly as possible. We are looking for a strategic leader, thinker, and problem solver to lead our Enterprise Architecture team. In this role, you will lead a team of experienced enterprise architects and collaborate across the enterprise with business leaders and engineering leaders to ensure Enterprise Architecture aligns with company’s strategic goals and objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, cloud strategy and architecture experience as well as extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture and Ecommerce.

What you bring to the table:

• Strong communication skills with proven ability to present to senior leadership team.
• Proven ability to drive application rationalization and Cloud Modernization in complex enterprise environments.
• Expert knowledge in data warehouse and big data architectures for mission critical systems.
• Strong working knowledge of architectural frameworks like TOGAF.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting cloud native applications and event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Empower and drive the definition and maintenance of technology standards, principles, and best practices for the organization.
• Drive Architecture consulting for key cross domain initiatives across the organization to ensure alignment with future state architecture.
• Empower the EA team to build partnership and collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, and product leaders to ensure the technology strategy aligns with the overall IT strategy.
• Lead a team of Enterprise Architects to execute enterprise architecture function across the organization.
• Provide thought leadership for the EA team to develop and maintain the company’s enterprise architecture roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Communicate the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap to business leaders, IT Leaders and other stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for vendor management function to ensure tools governance is properly defined and executed.
• Partner with the Security and Cloud Organization to strengthen security, reliability, and scalability of technology solution.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on company’s enterprise architecture.
• Enable Cloud Governance across the organization through cloud center of excellence.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for technology solutions to support business growth and operational efficiency.
